Public Disclosure

Emergent, having as its mission the provision of public goods, will publicly disclose certain of its activities in accordance with standards of transparency and public accountability. Except as noted, Emergent will reasonably disclose information regarding its mission, transactions, and performance.  Information designated as confidential by its Board or by counterparties as well as that which concerns on-going negotiations and yet to be consummated transactions will not generally be disclosed.

Reporting

Depending on level of activity and in consultation with contributors, Emergent will obtain third-party reviewed financial statements on an annual basis. Emergent shall cause to be prepared such financial statements as soon as practicable after the end of each fiscal year. Such financial statements shall be reviewed and/or audited by an independent certified public accountant or firm of such accountants of national or regional recognition, selected by Emergent in consultation with the Board of Directors. Emergent will employ a set of impact targets and key performance indicator (KPIs), in line with its theory of change, to assist with the monitoring and evaluation of performance.
